In this current environment of complex social change, I seek to create meaningful, enduring, collaborative impact through design.
As a user experience designer, I advocate for human-centred design and build innovative digital products and services alongside businesses and organisations. My previous experiences include Government Digital Services, IBM iX and General Assembly.
Outside of work, I bring my design skills into the community—I partner with initiatives for social good, support participatory design initiatives, and grow the Singapore design community through events and workshops.
I graduated from SUTD with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Systems and Design. I learnt how large-scale complex systems are not only greatly influenced by technology, but also by their social-economic context. My major in business analytics has led me to embrace complexity and to see the beauty in data when we use its power as a force for good.
My design process is led by a deep sense of empathy, technical insight, and systems thinking. Design, to me, is a creative process that harnesses the value of multiple disciplines and unique domain expertise. With it, we are able to reframe old problems and define new solutions for a better world.
